BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY

“The Favourite,” Deborah Davis, Tony McNamara

“First Reformed,” Paul Schrader

“Green Book,” Nick Vallelonga, Brian Currie, Peter Farrelly

“Roma,” Alfonso Cuarón

“Vice,” Adam McKay

Out of the screenplay categories, this one seems like the biggest slam dunk to me. While you would think that putting your money on Roma would be the smartest idea (let’s face it, it still might be), The Favourite has a whopping TEN nominations and the biting, absurdist humor starring three outstanding female performances should pull out the win here. I mean.. It had better. I loved The Favourite.  Talk about a truly unique story sexuality and women in power that also leaves you laughing out loud. PLEASE LET IT GO TO THE FAVOURITE.

Editor-in-Chief - I'm overworked in the tech industry and started this charming little blog so I could rant about movies, tv, pop culture, politics, and whatever the hell else I feel like talking about. I've conquered Comic-Con many times, and my love for Star Wars is a little bit embarrassing. I'm also hungry all the time.
