Incredibles 2 had this in the bag until Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out, and rightly so. Pixar has been releasing some of the most inventive animated movie magic for decades now, and it’s pretty astounding the level of quality they’ve been able to maintain over the years. But Sony’s Spider-Man was thematically and visually game-changing – bringing a Pixar-level brand of invention, diversity, and humor that hasn’t been seen much outside of Pixar in years. So, into the Spider-Verse we go on Oscar night, and deservedly so.incredible.

Editor-in-Chief - I'm overworked in the tech industry and started this charming little blog so I could rant about movies, tv, pop culture, politics, and whatever the hell else I feel like talking about. I've conquered Comic-Con many times, and my love for Star Wars is a little bit embarrassing. I'm also hungry all the time.
