Winner: The Crown won last year, and the Globes rarely give consecutive wins, so it’s out. Though I will say, I just binged both seasons and I can tell you it has totally earned its spot here. Game of Thrones is always better than most shows in this fan girl’s humble opinion, but this wasn’t its strongest season, so I highly doubt it will win, especially with no acting nominations. Stranger Things may lack the seriousness that most Drama winners usually have, but it’s super cool that it made the cut. I stopped watching network television long ago, but I hear This is Us is very, very good. But since I’m a math expert, methinks that: Year of the Woman x Emmy Win for Best Drama = The Handmaid’s Tale.
