Winner: Okay, here’s where logic goes completely out the window and I have a sneaky suspicion that The Globes are gonna throw us a curveball and give this to Greta Gerwig for Lady Bird. Why? Three reasons. 1.) It’s a fucking awesome script. 2.) They snubbed her for Best Director, so this would be a totally fitting yet backhanded consolation prize. 3.) Year of the Woman, dude. Preach if from the podium, girl! So, I’m not even going to explain any further. Putting all my chips in on Gerwig. And she totally deserves it.
